Derayah LLPC (Saudilegal) has substantial expertise in real estate transactions including advising on real estate sales and acquisitions, leasing arrangements, residential development projects, real estate disputes, real estate mortgages as well as advising on laws, regulations and practices relating to the real estate sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A representative list of our real estate expertise is set out below:
- We advised on a US$320 million agreement between an urban development company and an industrial city service company in Saudi Arabia. The agreement covers the design and construction of almost 900 residential units and the development of associated infrastructure works in the industrial city.
- We advised on an agreement for the development of a residential project (estimated to be in excess of US$340 million) in the Kingdom which was entered into by a premier real estate company and an industrial city’s services company. The deal covers the design and construction of over a thousand residential units in the industrial city and the development of associated infrastructure works for the project.
- We advised on the transfer of ownership of a property deed through diplomatic channels, from a foreign consulate to a buyer in Saudi Arabia.
- We advised upon lease agreements for a major multinational pharmaceutical company for their offices in both Jeddah and Riyadh.
- We assisted a major family company in connection with negotiations with a property owner in Saudi Arabia.
- We advised Riyadh-headquartered DataVolt in connection with a land lease agreement with Modon for the establishment of a data centre at Modon's technical zone in Riyadh.
